What should I call you? What's your e-mail/IM/Steam/etc. ?

I go by "Midnight Tea" on DA. Tea or Midnight is fine. I have a more personal name, but I prefer to use a handle when online. On that note, I'm not likely to share more personal means of contact unless a situation calls for it. If you want to establish a friendship with me, just be patient. The Last Defender A long time ago...

Pauline gritted her teeth, bringing the heavy blade down on the next approaching skeleton. The others backed away, their teeth chattering almost as if in anticipation. She knew this was almost the end. They may have just been brittle bone, but these were the skeletons of her ancestors. The ones who had come and fought before dying in war. Love for the Lost I'm not worthy of my bliss. That's how I often feel, anyway.

Why do the living dead sometimes come to my doorstep? How come I have the ability to give them beauty, peace and purpose? Why would they want someone like me me as their mistress and lady? I don't know. I've had guests ask if I'm cursed. I think on some level I must be, but I consider this existence a blessing. But then, things changed.

Library After Chance The world of Ashiva was always a very strange place. While most worlds obey the flow of creation and decay, this one seemed to always be throwing the cycle off just a bit. Geologists have noted there is no consistency to the soil layers, and archeological attempts to patch together a history from the world's numerous ruins has had no progress in creating a narrative. Most of these have been positively identified as once being of human habitation, but some of the ruins have even been positively identified as being from civilizations on Earth – complete with being on Earth soil!

The inspiration train is moving right along, probably on schedule for the first time since I started this DA! Wonderful! Let's see if it can't keep rolling?

Here's some stuff I'm doing soon.

1. A Midnight Tea FAQ. The purpose of this document would be to provide insight as to my personality or little odd things about my account. Things like "how are you able to respond to me literally minutes after I post". Well, that one is a freebie -- I use a browser add-on that notifies me anytime there is activity in my DA inbox. There'd also be stuff pertaining to the Teaverse, such as the huge story/continuity leap between the end of Aftertaste to where the dreadfuls pick up. I'd also like to give some general where-do-I-start-reading advice, since I've not exactly made it easy.

2. A much more foreshadowy dreadful. This one would help set-up tie-in a prequel story I want to do together with

. I might start writing this as soon as I finish typing this journal. It'll be low-key like that library one. Solniu and Gwen visit Ninian and Nimue and largely spend family time together. This'll be much more pleasant to read than Aftertaste, I promise you! In addition to the prequel, it'll also foreshadow...

3. A new "Flavor" story! Compared to the other two stories, this one'll be much more positive and upbeat. The underlying theme is about Ninian finally gaining confidence in her capabilities and role in the universe, and hosting a guest absolutely flawlessly. The target this time? I'd honestly like it to be an artist, perhaps from the Philippines. No, no one I literally know (though I'd be more than happy to someday write an omake like that! I bet Ninian would think *anirhapsodist tastes really sweet and *MangInasal a bit like chicken.)

I'll need to do my research to pull this off believably, since I literally live on the other side of the world, but I'd really like to do this. Since most of the story'll be in the manor itself, it shouldn't be that hard. I'll probably need to drop the "female name is actually food/drink" convention, I was only going to be able to go so far with that.
